Seems like a whole lot of people have chosen sun tea over the kool-aid. Enough, say, to kill the ridiculous free health care kick Obama's been on.
You don't think it's too early to pronounce Obamacare dead, do you?
Even so, we've got 3 more years of this guy to deal with. He can still do a heckuva lot of damage if we don't keep the pressure on!
RWL, I'm not sure we've driven a stake through the heart of Obamacare just yet but it's taken a serious blow. They've (BO, the Dems, the MSM) been caught way off-balance by the reaction. Never did they believe there could be so many of us and that we'd have the impertinence to push back. The Dems and MSM will continue to stand behind Obama but his honeymoon is over.
If Obamacare meets the same fate as Hillarycare, they'll be back in a few years. In other words, we conservatives haven't won the idealogical argument but rather defeated a specific piece of legislation (if, in fact, it is defeated). We've work to do.
If the GOP finds its gonads in 2010 and 2012, it absolutely must do something to show some progress on health care in the way of making it more free market oriented and the individual consumer more responsible for his choices.
Does this sound "fishy?" Will you report me?
Winger, it is exciting to finally see Conservatives become community organizers and activists, there's no DOUBT about THAT! It's invigorating, but we have just begun to fight. I said a while back about the health care debate that the chickens were coming home to roost, well let's don't count our chickens til they hatch either. Stand strong, be heard, be seen and be counted, keep the faith. This thing ain't over til it's over! VN8
Lee, AMEN, his honeymoon is over and maybe not a moment too soon! Keep stoking the fire, we simply must put a stop to government involvement in every aspect of our lives! Enough is enough! As long as the have nots want what the haves have, LOL, we will have this fight and that will be until the real Messiah comes back!
