Brian Nichols will rot in jail!

On March 11, 2005, Brian Nichols actions terrorized the City of Atlanta. For 26 hours no one new where this murderer was! Brian Nichols killed a judge, a court reporter, a deputy sheriff and a Federal ICE agent. A jury of his peers "rolling eyes", found him guilty on 59 counts but could not reach a unanimous decision to put him to death but Judge James Bodiford gave him the maximum sentence on all 59 counts! Way to go Jim! Brian Nichols could not have a had a more fair trial and in March of 2008 with your leadership our region has finally given him some of what he deserves! You stated upon taking this trial that you were going to put this show on the road and you did exactly what you said you would do.

To Brian Nichols I'd like to say that you don't deserve the air you breathe. I hope that put your pathetic ass in SuperMax and you rot, the sooner the better!

If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position to need a fair trial, pray your Judge is Jim Bodiford. If you are guilty, pray it isn't Judge Bodiford! He's extremely fair but he can dish out the punishment. VN8

Nichols' rampage prompted many agencies to review their procedures for bringing prisoners to court.

I'm not a big proponent of the death penalty because I don't believe it's cost effective, but were I to find myself on a jury hearing such a case, and the death penalty was applicable, I would vote "aye."

Maybe they'll bring federal charges so that he can receive the death penalty. Although, there is something to be said for making him rot in prison.
