My SENTIMENTS, exactly . . .

OK, I've been in bed all day, shoulder/neck injury, just your typical capitalist working hard, doesn't know when to stop and then, slam, incapacitated! But hey, it's raining outside and couldn't be a better day to be a slug on meds! So I've been listening to all my favorite tunes, surfing the universe via the internet and I run across this comment, I agree with "hadanuff" completely. What a brilliant time to be alive! If you want socialism, communism, bring it on, it's going to be painful, but it will not survive and if it's what we need to bring about "Real Change" in this nation, I say "Viva Revolution"!

Here's the comment:

Socialism at its best will fail and lead to revolution. I just hope I live long enough to see it.

Way to go hadanuff, where do I sign up? VN8

I will sign up also.

Hope your neck and shoulder problem is not real serious. And you get better soon.Rick

Sounds like a great thing, VN8. I am not so sure I wanna live to see a "revolution", my friend. Liberal socialists already throw rocks and bottles to make their ridiculous points, and it hasn't even started yet. It's gonna be violent if it comes. Some of us rednecks are downright mean! I'm not sure I *want* to be around. That however, is God's choice.

Yeah, got neck problems too, mostly from not sleeping right, stupid cats taking my self of the bed.

As to the socialism leading to revolutions,...well,kind of,but wrong kind of violent action.

I see it leading more to anarchy and chaos, sort of a free for all.

Which is why I don't want to happen, and don't preach the "let us over throw the government" crap.

Now if we don't have any recourse left to petition; via votes, dissent, or representation, that will lead to revolution. While still violent, and I rather it didn't happen,I will support it...heck, I'll lead it if need be.

From seeing what I've seen from in Iraq to Bosnia to other countries, who are not as free and fortunate as ours,IT IS worth fighting and dying for.

OM1, I'm not suggesting violence, but I'm dang sure ready if it came to that. I know you know what I mean and I have no fear because ultimately I'm not in control and I know you really know what that means. :) I'm just proud to see that people are waking up to what has been transpiring in government and they are taking a firm stand! Thanks for the balance! VN8

Scalawag, very well said. I couldn't have said it so well. Is it raining up your way? VN8

Oh I understood that, VN8 ... I just feel as if there is a group that might be a bit trigger-happy regarding the needed revolution.

I think a "gathering of eagles" is the most effective revolution. When it is logically presented, I believe traditional values will prevail over the knee-jerk fear mongering. Once it is seen that such "community antagonism" is what keeps us frightened of each other, We can actually begin to progress. That is the sort of revolution we need.
