Got to love it!

A U.S. Army cadet reads a book entitled "Kill Bin Laden" as he waits with other cadets for U.S. President Barack Obama to deliver an address on U.S. policy and the war in Afghanistan at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York December 1, 2009. Obama is expected to announce a plan to send 30,000 more U.S. troops to Afghanistan over six months in a bid to beat back the Taliban and bring a quicker end to a costly and unpopular eight-year war.

(I'd like to add, look at all those ribbons on his chest! My kind of Cadet! VN8)

This is great, VN8!!! Hey did you see the vid comparing the welcome President Bush got when he spoke to the troops, compared to when oblama did the same? It's on U-toob and it's worth a click. Obaba oughtta be very embarrassed ... but he's far too arrogant and probably doesn't have the sense to see that he's not well supported. I remember seeing the same thing with Carter vs. Reagan.

Winger, haven't see that video comparison but if you find a link, I'd love to post it on the blog. I'd really also love to see the Carter vs. Reagan comparison, not that there would be much comparing! LOL I read on-line today that the Cadets had to be told to applaud and appear as if they supported the President prior to his appearance on the stage! I wondered why when they showed the audience, some of the cadets seemed a little lethargic. Now I know why! Good grief, it sounded like Russia, demanding that the Cadets do this and act a certain way, what are we teaching our future military? No please, don't answer that question, I don't want to know the TRUTH! VN8

I'll look for a link ... it's hilarious ... in a sad sort of way. It looks as if voter remorse really took hold in the military. It's even worse than Clinton, and (covertly of course) we had absolutely no respect for him.

I'm really impressed at how these nutjob liberal bloggers have fallen in lockstep with oblama on their hatred for the military. I think I've actually found a couple of cases of a sort of "class jealousy" regarding the military health care system.

Next thing ya know, we'll have a civilian security force that is just as strong as the military and just as well funded. I wonder if people will notice when he coddles the GeStaPo and pisses on the military! Oh, you asked where we've seen this kind of thing before?

Did you see all the cadets that were snoring off, or the look on Gen. Peterus face. Yeah, that was a look that could kill.

RWL, I watched the YouTube of W addressing the cadets last December. Note how relaxed he was with West Point crowd. He was the same in NYC after 9/11 when he was standing with the fireman and talking to others through the bullhorn. He delivered the commencement address at my daughter's college graduation in 2007 and was great.

You're right: BO comes across as arrogant, defensive, and small in comparison. And he is.
