We have a County Commissioner in my district that is up for re-election this year and I can honestly say, "I'm ashamed I live in District 4, Cobb County!" If this woman gets re-elected, I'm seriously thinking of moving out of the County! Her major concerns in the county are bus transportation and parks.
She spoke in a predominantly black church on 2-17-2008 and said that she works with angry white women. I'll find the transcripts of her speech that she delivered. Stay tuned for follow ups.
The following is the video footage that I filmed today at her Press Conference explaining why she said what she did! It makes no sense. Nothing she says makes any sense! Put your religious faith aside and be the judge.
The gentleman to her right on the video is Gerald Rose the founder of the New Order National Human Rights. He appears to think he's the next MLK or Jesse Jackson. He moved to Georgia from Ohio to help us correct our intolerance and injustice.

I'm thinking that we better let you folks down in district 4 just annex into Futon County. You know what I'm saying? LOL Holy cow how did she ever get elected in lily white Cobb County? I tell you what, you just have to run for that office and I'll help you campaign. Heck, I would pay to see you debate that woman! LOL What do you say? Annexing us into Fulton County, well over the past twenty years the Commissioners have allowed South Cobb to slide into the abyss! Not denying that the voters aren't responsible for the past 3 1/2 years of Annette Kesting, but our district has been ignored for far too long and now everyone is looking around saying, "What happened?" When the Olympic Committee was preparing for the 1996 Olympics, they moved all of the "homeless and indigents into apartment complexes in South Cobb around Six Flags so that no one would see them roaming the streets of Atlanta. It's gone down hill fast. I'd like to follow that money trail! Crime is rampant and continuing to rise and "we" wonder why! Gang activity is also on the increase. And yes, I know "exactly" what you are saying!
As for lily white Cobb County, the demographics of the County is changing and if you listened to the video Gerald Rose of the New Order National Human Rights organization stated clearly in the video that there are "NOT" enough African Americans serving in Cobb County such as they are in other local counties and he plans on changing that, so don't think your district is free from turning into the "City of Lithonia!" I don't have a problem with anyone of any race, creed or religion serving on the Commission, but I do have a big problem with IGNORANCE.
I work in the County offices every Wednesday and you wouldn't believe what I hear on the "inside" about Ms. Kesting's past due taxes, slumlord, foreclosing problems! She is a disgrace to our County. Please go to the following link from the Atlanta Journal Constitution and see the video from her appearance at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, it will make your blood curdle!
As for me debating her, I plan to be at her next "Town Hall" meeting and she will also be debating her opponents and it will be aired on TV23 in May and I hope I can get a ticket to that debate.
As for running for office, I'm sure there are many, many people far more experienced than I am to run for Commissioner of District 4 and I plan to do everything I can to make sure she is defeated.
