Well it's confirmed, Obamamessiah has made his pick for Vice Presidential running mate. Someone had over the ear plugs. If we have to listen to Senator Joseph Biden bloviate until the General Election in November, I'm going to need some ear plugs. I can't even begin to think how I would feel if the Dems won the election and I had to listen to Senator Biden for four years!
Oh and the press stated that the Obama camp would do everything they could to keep Senator Biden quiet! Wishing them the very best, you can't teach an old donkey new tricks.
Is it possible that the reason that nothing ever gets done in Washington has anything to do with "Long winded Joe"? I remember the nomination hearings for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and I'm certain that the length of that process could have been cut by two thirds if Senator Biden had not presided over those hearings. I don't think I've every heard anyone but President Bill Clinton enjoy hearing himself speak more.

I can't think of bigger buffoon in politics. There is a veritable bottomless well of unfortunate Biden quotes just made for campaign commercials. What he did to Clarence Thomas should make Dems hang their heads in shame - if they could. And Biden is undoubtedly the most disingenuous of those Dems regretting his vote to authorize force in Iraq. Frankly, I couldn't be happier than to see him on the ticket!
Lee, I couldn't agree with you more! I heard something that made me want to puke on MSNBC this morning, "Senator Joeseph Biden is the least rich among US senators. Apparently he's only worth less than 2 million dollars? I've always heard dems arguing what constitutes rich, now they are upping the standards apparently. Poor guy, tell that to the constituents that depend on the dems to take care of them. I'm sure they would all love to have 2 million. Thanks for stopping by. VN8
And if the Dems want to make hay of McCain's gaffe about houses, Biden's sweetheart deal with Countrywide can't be ignored.

Jim, I wouldn't want to invest in anything as expensive as Bose, I'm thinking the foam ear plugs I use when I go to stock car races! I'll only need them until November! VN8
I'd like to try the Bose full coverage model. My Sony set covers the ear but not around it. They do make a difference. I use them only when I fly. I wear foam ear plugs with the head set over. I have a case of tinnitus that I believe is the result of listening to the car radio too dang loud and, of course, my Walkman when I run. I no longer use the Walkman because I just couldn't do it without turning it up. Nothing like classic rock!
Lee I don't own a pair but I've tried the Bose ones in the store and it's just remarkable. The Sony headset may be just as good. It's pretty amazing technology.
