What's Senator Pelosi smoking?

500 million jobs a month? OK, I checked around on the internet and the total US population is around 302 million, give or take a few octuplets! What is she smoking?

I was so glad to see this video and find out that we are unemployed, we just thought we were working and paying taxes! LOL VN8

VN8 - this is poster material which makes the case for term limits. Now this is (yet another) high-brow liberal we can laugh at!

I am certainly glad Pelosi knows what's best for us. Guffaw!

Very good, Jim. But the Pelosi vid was not heavily edited, cartoon style. Simple difference, but it highlights the angle of attack KJLs are taking. Steele was a great choice. Some of us knew he'd get the nod, but there's really no need for the lib-dems to go on the defensive just yet. They have 4 years of free time. Comparing Steele's leadership pedigree to what Obama is showing is pretty much a wash. They have the wheel ... now let's see if they can actually steer us someplace.

OM1C is right. And so is Steele. Governments do not, and cannot, create jobs. Sure, they can in the sense of public servants, but ultimately it was the private sector that created those jobs through the creation of wealth and taxes paid. Your video, Jim, is rather lame.

Yes, Jim and those are jobs the government created but are they increasing the Gross National Product? They are jobs that the government had to create to protect us from ourselves and the salaries are paid by taxing citizens who do add to the GNP, so they really aren't the types of jobs that will improve our economy other than keeping anarchy from breaking out. But it was a great try. VN8
