Reverse Discrimination ??

There's a storm brewing in Cobb County, Georgia. Mike Norman owner of Mulligan's Food and Spirits in Marietta, Georgia came up with a novel t-shirt and the African American Civil Rights Groups have come out in droves.

What amazes me is that these same Civil Rights leaders didn't come out in droves when Cobb County Commissioner Annette Kesting made a comment in Harmony Grove Baptist Church back in February for "Black History" month that she worked with a bunch of angry white women on the third floor.

Will someone explain to me why what's good for the goose is not good for the gander?

I'm attaching two videos. The first is of the t-shirt scandal. The second is of Ms. Kesting's supposed apology, the apology never occurred, but please take the time to watch the video to about the 5:00 minute mark when Ms. Kesting walks away from the podium refusing to field questions from those gathered to hear her apology. Gerald Rose of the New Order National Human Rights Organization steps up to the podium and specifically says that there isn't enough diversity in Cobb County government as there is in surrounding metro counties and "he's" going to do something about that.

Gerald Rose is also the person in the t-shirt video that walks up to Mike Norman and Mr. Norman tells him to get his *ss off his parking lot. Think Mr. Rose is trying to stir the pot for some publicity? Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are probably booking their airline tickets as we speak.

Both stories put the county and city in an unfavorable light. People from outside of here must think we are bunch of racists.

Well I think if Gerald Rose is going to stand up for Civil Rights, he needs to realize that the African American community is not the only group of citizens with Civil Rights! He's a hate monger and all his group does is stir the pot! I wish he had stood in front of that camera 10 more seconds and seen what Mike Norman could have dished out! Gerald Rose just wanted face time in front of the media! Go to his web site, research who sits on that board, google their names and then tell me that they can even hold a candle to Marvin Arrington, Bill Cosby or Clarence Thomas. If there is still racism in Cobb County it's because the likes of Gerald Rose keep instigating racism!
