Obama said ACORN and friends, responsible for voting fraud and the subprime crisis, are going to be shaping policy for an Obama presidency.
(There you have it, enough said! VN8)

The silence from the left on the subject of ACORN is deafening. The MSM has had almost nothing to say but recall the snot-slinging outrage in 2000 over the imaginary Florida panhandle voter stopped en route to vote?
Good job posting, VN8. True enough! This is the sort of rhetoric that the lefties wish wasn't on tape. There's a bunch of them ... both gaffes and lefties.
Smart money would be spent running all these snippets of socialism together in some sort of youtube editor, and letting THIS ALONE speak about why Obama is dangerous. McCain could take the day off and relax. It could be entitled "Obamanation ... in his own words".
What did you say Lee? Oh, sorry, I didn't have my hearing aid turned up! Yep, it's deafening alright! VN8
OM1C, I know that's right. Doesn't it make you wonder when you hear it in his own words, that people don't see it or even understand it? VN8
VN8 - this "gaffe" won't get anywhere near the airplay that Gore spelling "potato" did. Or the airplay that the great IQ comparison between Billy-boy and GW received ... until the media got egg on it's face when actual pedigrees were compared. Media wipes obama's butt for him and they can't stand the thought of a Republican in the Presidency. Hopefully enough people will piece together the Obama agenda based on stuff like this, Acorn fraud, Useless "community organization", and firebombers and make a sane decision. A "mooseburger" looks pretty good to me right about now. :-)
Before you folks all giddy, did you know that John McCain gave the keynote speech to the Acorn Miami rally and was there with them in support for a comprehensive immigration reform? “Maybe it is out of desperation that Sen. McCain has forgotten that he was for Acorn before he was against Acorn; he was for immigration reform before he was against immigration reform; and he was a maverick before he became erratic."
Acorn is the one that notified election officials of the discrepancies and wanted to make sure all the registrations were legitimate. We need to take every precaution to make sure that every voter registration is legitimate and we need to put a stop to voter suppression in those states where that continues to happen. There is no place for either in this election!
Jim, there is no defending ACORN. Yes, McCain did speak to them as they do, for better or worse, represent a constituency. Recall that W, much to the dismay of conservatives, spoke to the NAACP after the digraceful James Byrd ad in 2000.
Given that ACORN is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dems and that BO has a history with them, should he denounce their actions and call for cutting off public funding.
I hate this bb. I meant to add a "?" at the end of that.
Jim, what does McCain's address to members of Acorn have to do with Obama's outrageous statement about wealth re-distribution? I can recall the lowly "I" speaking to a group whose agenda I did not agree with. A few times, actually. Search your feelings, Luke ... you have probably done the same thing.
Which "discrepancies" did ACORN, in their unrelenting pursuit of election fairness, mention to the election board? Registering Mickey Mouse? Or registering the same shut-ins 4 or 5 times each? Now THAT's what I'd call public service! Wait!! You're not talking about Bush v. Gore, areya? I'm SURE ACORN raised a red flag or two on GW's behalf there!
