Good and bad, VN8 ...

Les Paul died yesterday ... at the wonderful old age of 94!!!

But 40 years ago, this country RAWKED!!! And you're right, WE can, and we MUST take our country back. We've simply no place else to go!!!

We had the great honor of seeing Joe Cocker several weeks ago at Wolftrap here in DC. At the age of 65, he still puts on a great show and spastically waves his arms and hands. With a Little Help from My Friends got a great reaction (and he can still do a great scream) but You Can Leave Your Hat On got an even better one. We're going back tonight for Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Two weeks from now, Loggins and Messina. Does this date me?

My sentiments to Les Paul! Truly the end of an era! Yes, 40 years ago, there was some great music being produced! We were all tip toeing through the tulips! In our minds! VN8

Lee, that's awesome! It doesn't matter if you are dating yourself, time can't be stopped. We've all earned every grey head we have in our heads! Have a blast and drink an adult beverage for me and light a lighter, hold it up high! :) VN8
